#GivingEveryTuesday is a series of weekly opportunities to come together to give, volunteer, and show kindness in shared moments with communities, causes and countries around the world.

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a global movement using radical generosity to inspire people to put goodness into the world. It has since grown from an annual event into a year-round movement that encourages millions of people to collaborate in order to celebrate generosity.

What Is #GivingEveryTuesday?
#GivingEveryTuesday is a new chance every week to be a champion of kindness by joining with other communities and countries to teach, to advocate, and to make a difference in the world.
How Is #GivingEveryTuesday Put Together?
The GivingTuesday team sets a theme for every week in connection with worldwide partners, ranging from sustainability to international holidays to bringing awareness to a variety of causes. You can view the entire calendar here:
GivingTuesday leaders empower and encourage their communities to act on each week’s theme through volunteering, donating, educating, and advocating, and to share the message with everyone in order to create and sustain a ripple effect of kindness and generosity.

The Tuesday generosity habit lets everyone who participates or even just sees the message put forth goodness into their corner of the world, creating a kinder, empathetic and connected society through both individual acts community involvement.

The GivingTuesday Data Commons released two must-read reports last week.
The Fundraising Effectiveness Project’s (FEP) Fourth Quarter Fundraising Report was released by the GivingTuesday Data Commons, which found an increase in overall charitable giving of 2.7% in 2021.

The FEP releases their quarterly findings on giving trends as both downloadable reports on afpfep.org, and in the form of an online dashboard.
